Our friends at Lumanu recently spoke with Danielle Ito, Influencer Marketing Manager at Notion, to explore how their small but mighty team manages over 50 influencer partnerships each month.
Notion’s organic growth on social media led to a vibrant creator partnership program, which is also thanks to a combination of primarily 3 tools:
CreatorIQ for reporting on influencer impressions.
Copper as their “creator relationship management” system.
Lumanu as their onboarding and payment platform.
“Copper is what holds everything together. In Copper we house every influencer we've ever worked with, our pipeline of influencers that we want to work with, their contact information, their agent, their managers, contact information, etc.,” she says.
Notion’s small team, which also operates with occasional contractors, relies on Copper to keep everything streamlined.
“We don’t have to ask each other for updates. The status of all of our partnerships, for every campaign is right there in front of us in our deal pipeline,” says Danielle. “And, if someone goes out of town or someone leaves, we can see all the history of their emails in each partnership, which is really nice."
To eliminate manual busywork, Danielle set up an integration between Copper and Lumanu.
“When a project or a deal moves from draft stage to content live a payout is automatically created in Lumanu. This automation saves us so much time. It's just a one click approval and it's very easy.
